Date: October 7, 2025

Location: Sunset Community Church, Renton

Schedule:

2:30pm fellowship, Pilgrim Coffee truck, snacks

3pm Overview of Sacrificial Leadership

The cross of Jesus is the key event in ministry, taking hold of us with creative power enabling sacrifice, victory, justice, and transforming love. People need and want help righting wrongs. Will you connect with them?

4pm fellowship

4:30pm Paying the Necessary Price to Bring People Back

Following the example of Jesus, spiritual leaders empathize with the alienated and build effective bridges. God’s goal is not to endure suffering, but to put yourself in the way of love. Spirit-filled mental health helps you stand with and in the shoes of others. Will you absorb hostility from burdened people to bring them back?

5:30pm dinner

6:10pm Annual Meeting

“The Hand and the Power of God: giving from the heart”

People hope that Jesus is who he claims to be. Many define Jesus through the beliefs and the behaviors of Christians in churches. God’s grace enables believers to give themselves. How far will your love for others take you?

7:40pm Adjourn

The conference presentations and discussions will begin to unpack the following: Forgiveness that absorbs hostility from the offender; Self-protection that evades spiritual growth that comes through difficulties; Biblical authority that elevates pastoral spiritual authority; Engaged partnerships and cooperation that are empathetic; Effective missional living that includes gospel conversations and a response from the next generation; Alignment that perpetuates peaceful and long-term ministry.
